Just like North American top skiers come together to compete in the NorAM cup, Europeans likewise come together to compete in the Europa Cup. As a member of the US Ski Team Alpine Tech Team, I spend time competing on both the World Cup and Europa Cup circuit. This year I was fortunate enough to be able to compete at the Europa Cup Finals in Andorra. I had my best Europa Cup GS result, starting bib 42 it also was my biggest move up in a Europa cup. After the first run I had moved up to 28th. I took advantage of my early second run start, won the second run and ended up 5th. The next day was SL and while the weather did not cooperate I had 2 solid runs ending up 17th.
