If you remember back a year ago, Zagreb was where things really came together for me. It started off my 2021 in a big way, seeing me to my best finish 18, first top 10 world cup run, and qualified me for world champs.
Coming back this year, I expected to do well. What I didn’t expect were gale-force winds and tornadoes of you guessed it falling leaves on the course. I realize it is not an easy task, ensuring there is enough snow and good temps/conditions for a race. But I have never been in a race where there was so little of the white stuff.
That said, I am happy to have finished my run. Just not happy to have missed the flip by .09. Gonna have to step on the Gas if I want to be top 30.
